I can't change you, I can only love you. So I'm willing to cut short my sentences, because it takes you all this silence. So I'm willing to step three steps back and not one forward, because it gives you all this space. So I'm willing to remember for the both of us, because memories are never a safe space for you. So I'm willing to sell myself short, because everybody was too occupied with not doing that they forget to check on you. So I'm willing to sit with all this pain because that's the only thing I know how to do when you don't talk. And I don't want to make you talk because I might have not known the price you'd have to pay.
But if you don't want me to stay, there's only so much.
